Solid homestyle Mexican food with very good, family style service. They have a full bar and their ceviche, fish tacos and fajitas are highlights. Parking in the little lot is tough so be prepared to park on one of the surrounding streets. Good Mexican spot in Eagle Rock!

I did not go there today.I went last year and got sick.I ate the menudo. My friend told meshe also became ill.I will never go there againThe owner could also use some manners !

My boyfriend and I love visiting La Fuente to get our Mexican fix. It's a no frills, down home, authentic Mexican restaurant that serves food with love. The Chile Verde is my go to dish and their chicken soup or lentil soup that comes with the dinner plate is also very delicious! My boyfriend always orders the chicken fajitas. We've been coming here since we've been dating but my boyfriend, an LA native, has been going to La Fuente with his family for years. It's worth a visit and the family who runs the restaurant are very friendly and takes care of their patrons.

Apparently this is the only Mexican Restaurant that has no idea what queso is. Queso being the cheese dip that is accompanied by chips. Instead they just brought out a bowl of cheese. So I then asked for the chips and cheese assuming that was it...it was nachos. I paid $5 for nachos when my friend ordered another plate of nachos that was called nachos?? Why have the same thing just named differently? Servers laughed at us for that too. Food was mediocre. Not worth it

The food is very good, nice and friendly neighborhood feel, but it's a very small place and gets busy on Fridays and Saturdays so plan ahead. Personally, my favorite dish is the Fajitas plate. It smells delicious and is definitely a head-turner..

Great staff, quality ingredients make for excellent food! When we are up there, this is a great spot for Mexican food. Had a superb bloody Mary, spicy and fun!

Food was o.k. Service was horrible. I always tip and appreciate good service...but for first time in my life I left $0 tip. Even when I have received bad service I leave at least $5. When I got home I realized "someone" had added $10 tip to the bill. I contacted the restaurant and appreciate the fact that they quickly reimbursed the $10 because "someone" had mistakenly punched in an extra $10 to the bill...just double check your bill. I know I will from now.

The salsa here is unlike any other I have ever tasted they have a pico de gallo type salsa(not that one) and than they have a RED SALSA(this one) the flavor is unique and oh so good. I'd drive a thousand miles for that salsa! gotta get the recipe next time im there.

There are two locations one in Eagle Rock one in Highland Park I go to the one in Highland Park off Monte Vista and Avenue 56 the most unbelievable for you could ever taste authentic Mexican food smaller place quaint and cozy good atmosphere authentic food good service

LA Fuente Mexican Restaurant is a very good place to get good food at a fair price. I have always been happy with everything I ordered and no complaints from the rest of the group. There is free parking but the parking lot is not too large. Good service from the wait staff. Drinks are available too.

You can't beat this place for their huevos mexicanos plate. It's great with nopales. If you enjoy chilaquiles then you'll love it here. They are excellent with their green sauce and slightly spicy flavor. My buddy loves their chile rellenos plate with beans and rice. The employees always greet you and seat you promptly and are of course very friendly. Parking is limited, but you can usually get a space if you wait for someone to leave.

Order from Postmates the Menudo for me and a few friends and let me say among eating menudo my whole life it was the WORST menudo I’ve EVER. We couldn’t even eat it eventually throwing it out. I would rather eat canned Mundo than this garbage. The broth tasted like sink water. The tripe was white and even after adding onions, cilantro, etc it still had no flavor. 10/10 would never order garbage from this restaurant again.

Have been coming here for 30 years. This place has never made me feel unsatisfied. The food is still delicious. Service is exquisite. Here is to many more

I hate to give negative reviews but my experience with this sub par Mexican restaurant warranted it. This was a disappointing ordering experience, the person taking the order didn't know what a flauta was, and had to get another person to speak with us so that we could put our order in, with bland, bad tasting food, and to cap it all off I had a rock in my beans. The management was fortunately willing to make it right, but it isn't worth eating bad food. I'll never go again, but I give them another star because the management understood the problem and tried to take care of it. It was through a free order of flautas that I will never take advantage of. It ended up costing us over 30 dollars for two mains, not worth it.

Great food at very good prices. Yes, sometimes the service is a little slow, but it is GOOD service! Super friendly staff! I go there for the best posole in town! The bar area & drinks are great. AND! they play the Dodger games! What more do you need!?!
